Preparation and Selective Adsorption Performance for Norfloxacin of Molecularly Imprinted Polymer Co-MOF/CNT@MIPs
https://doi.org/10.1007/s11814-026-00659-6
Abstract
In this work, surface molecularly imprinted polymers Co-MOF/CNT@MIPs were prepared based on metal-organic framework (MOF) and muti-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) as matrix, and norfloxacin (NOR) as template molecular. The structural characteristics of molecular imprinted polymer Co-MOF/CNT@MIP were confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), scanning electron microscope (SEM), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), Brunauer–Emmett– Teller (BET), X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The adsorption and selective recognition performances of Co-MOF/CNT@MIP for NOR were also investigated. The adsorption of Co-MOF/CNT@MIP for NOR reaches equilibrium at 300 min, and pseudo-second-order (PSO) model is more fit for adsorption kinetic. The adsorption capacity of Co-MOF/CNT@MIP for NOR reaches 78.6 mg/g with 1.5 mg/mL at 25℃ via the hydrogen bond interaction and “lock-key” imprinted cavities, and the D-R model is fit for adsorption isotherm. The adsorption amount decreases as increasing the temperature, which is an exothermic and spontaneous process. The imprinted polymer exhibits an excellent imprinted factor of 2.08 and high selective factor above 1.93, and it is satisfactory reusability for five cycles.
