ISOTHERMAL DRYING RATE OF ETHYLBENZENE FROM A SPHERICAL POLYSTYRENE PELLET
Desorption behaviour of ethylbenzene from a spherical polystyrene pellet was investigated. The predicted drying rate using an average diffusion coefficient differed substantially from that simulated with concentration dependent diffusivity. As the drying temperature decreased and the initial solute content of the pellet increased, the difference between the two calculations became more significant.
