분무 열분해법으로 제조한 형광체 CaTiO3:Pr의 특성
Characteristics of CaTiO3 :Pr Phosphor Prepared by Spray Pyrolysis
분무 열분해 장치인 FEAG(Filter Expansion Aerosol Generator)에 의하여 다성분 산화물계 형광체인 CaTiO3 : Pr입자를 제조하였다. 제조된 입자는X-Ray diffraction pattern(XRD).centrifugal particlesizeanalyzer(CPSA), scanningelectron microscopy(SEM) 등으로 결정성 및 크기, 형태를 알아보았고, photoluminescence(PL), cathodoluminescence (CL)로서, 발광특성을 알아보았다. FEAG process로 제조된 입자들은 구형의 마이크론 크기의 입자였다. 전구체 용액의농도가 0.04M에서 0.54M로 증가하면 입자의 평균 크기가 0.9μm에서 1.68μm로 증가하였다. 800℃이하의 온도에서 제조된 입자는 무정형이었고, 900℃에서 제조된 입자는 순수한perovskite의 결정성을 보였다. 활성제인 praseodymium의 양을 변화시켜 휘도변화를 살펴보았을 때, 0.5mol%에서 가장 밝은 것으로 나타났다. 분무 열분해법으로 제조된 CaTiO3 : Pr입자는 고상법으로 제조된 입자보다 두 배 이상 밝은 것으로 나타났고, 1,200℃에서 열처리했을 때, 최적의 열처리 시간도 12시간에서 5시간으로 줄일 수 있었다.
Spray Pyrolysis using FEAG(Filter Expansion Aerosol Generator) Process was applied to the preparation of multicomponent oxide phosphor ; red emitting perovskite CaTiO 3 : Pr. The morphology. particle size and crystalline phase were investigated by scanning electron microscopy(SEM), centrifugal particle size analyzer(CPSA) and X-Ray diffraction pattern(XRD). Optimum conditions for the preparation and post-treatment of particles for good luminescence were determined by cathodoluminescence(CL) and photoluminescence(PL). Spherical and non-agglomerated particles of micron size were prepared by the spray pyrolysis. As the solution concentration increased from 0.04M to 0.54M, the mean size of the Particles increased from 0.9μm to 1.68μm. The optimum temperature and holding time for the post-treatment of CaTiO3 : Pr were 1,200℃ and 5 hours, respectively The PL intensity of CaTiO3 : Pr particles prepared by spray pyrolysis was twice larger than that by solid state reaction. The spray pyrolysis reduced optimum Post-treatment time from 12 hours to 5 hours at 1.200℃.
