배합고무와 황동피복코드의 접착에 대한 가황속도의 영향
Effect of Cure Rate on Adhesion between Rubber Compounds and Brass-Plated Steel Cord
가황속도가 배합고무와 강선코드의 접착성질에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 가황촉진제의 종류와 첨가량 및 지연제의 첨가량을 바꾸어서 가황속도지수가 7min-1에서 17min-1범위에 있는 16종류의 고무를 준비하였으며, 고무의 가황성질과 물성 및 접착성을 측정하였다. 가황속도지수에 따라 적정 가황시간을 결정하면 가황속도는 초기나 열화 후 접착성질에 영향이 없었다. 접착층이 고무층에 비해 안정한 접착계에서는, 가황촉진제의 종류와 첨가량 및 지연제 첨가 등 가황속도에 영향을 주는 인자들을 가황속도지수로 종합하여 나타낼 수 있었다.
The adhesion properties between rubber compounds and steel cord were investigated with respect to the cure rate. Sixteen kinds of rubber compounds whose cure rate indices were ranged from 7 min-1 to 17 min-1, were prepared by changing the type and loading amount of accelerators and prevulcanization inhibitor(PVI). Cure properties of rubber com- pounds and the physical and adhesion properties of cured samples were examined. The effect of cure rate on the adhesion properties at initial and aged condition was not significant, if the cure time was optimally determined from the cure rate index. The factors on the cure rate such as type and loading of accelerator and loading of PVI, could be represented integratively in terms of cure rate index to obtain the optimum cure time for a stable adhesion system.
