Gaseous Adsorption Properties of n-Hexane, Methylethylketone and Toluene on Granular Activated Carbon
n-헥산, 메틸에틸케톤 및 톨루엔의 활성탄에 대한 흡착을 조사하였다. 40℃에서 중량볍으로 측정한 흡착등 온선은 Freundich 흡착등온식으로 잘 나타내어졌다. 흐름흡착장치에서 단일성분 및 2성분 혼합물의 파괴곡선을 조사하였으며 단일성분의 흡착등온식을 적용한 이상흡착용액 이론으로 2성분의 혼합물 파괴곡선의 실험결과를 잘 모사할 수 있었다.
Adsorption of n-hexane, methylethylketone and toluene on a granular activated carbon was studied. At 40℃ adsorption isotherms of each component were measured by a gravimetric apparatus, and they were fitted by Freundlich equation. Adsorption breakthrough curves of individual components and binary mixtures were measured in a flow adsorption apparatus. Binary breakthrough curves could be nicely simulated by an ideal adsorption solution theory based on adsorption isotherms of single-component systems.
