톱밥의 열분해를 위한 Rotary Kiln의 modelling에 관한 연구
A Modelling Study on the Pyrolysis of Saw-dust in a Rotary Kiln
본 연구는 톱밥의 열분해를 위한 Rotary Kiln의 기본설계문제와 조작조건을 논의하였다. 특히 Rotary Kiln내에서 고체반응물질의 평균체류시간과 혼합도의 관계식을 얻었으며 그 결과 체류시간은 원료투입량에 무관함을 발견하였고 가장 혼합도가 좋은 회전수는 120 rpm이었다. Axial dispersion model을 적용하여 열분해온도에 따른 필요한 Rotary Kiln의 길이를 예견하도록 하였다.
A study on the fundamental design of the rotary kiln and the operational techniques of the kiln for the pyrolysis of saw dust was carried out.
The emphasis of this study was placed on the relationship between the mea residence time and mixing degree of the solid reactant in the rotary kiln. It was found that the mean residence time of the solid was independent with the feed rate, and the highest mixing degree was obtained at rotational speed of 120 rpm.
With the Axial Dispersion Model, the optimum lengths of the rotary kiln with different reaction temperatures were predicted for the pyrolysis.
