This paper demonstrates the application of the θ-method of convergence to the solution of absorber, stripper, and liquid-liquid extraction. By the solution of a wide variety of example, it is demonstrated that the θ-method is exceedingly fast and converges for all problems of the type which appear to be of commercial interest.
