충전 기포탑에서 유속 및 점도가 축방향 혼합에 미치는 영향
Effect of Flow Rate and Viscosity on the Axial Dispersion of Liquid in a Packed Bubble Column
기포탑에 원통형 금망을 충전시켜 액체의 점도와 기체 및 액체의 유속에 따른 축방향 분산 계수를 tracer기법으로 측정하였다. 연구 결과에 의하면 축방향 분산 계수는 기체 및 액체의 유속이 증가함에 따라 증가하고 액체의 점도가 증가함에 따라 감소하며 그 관계는 다음과 같은 실험식으로 표시할 수 있다.

Dispersion coefficients of liquid were measured in a bubble column packed with screen cylinders. Impulse response technique was applied to measure the dispersion coefficient as a function of the gas and liquid flow rates and the liquid viscosity. The axial dispersion coefficient was found to increase with increasing gas and liquid velocities and with decreasing liquid viscosity within the range of experimental conditions. The relationship could be expressed by the following correlation :
